For help with Kanchen, email amit@airavata.io. If you are reporting a problem, include your device model and iOS or iPadOS version.
In Kanchen, open Settings and tap Export your data. Kanchen creates one file, "Kanchen [date].json", with everything you have entered. You choose where it is saved or sent.
Kanchen does not sync between devices. Your data is included in your device's backup, through iCloud Backup or a backup on a computer, and is restored with it on a new iPhone or iPad.
Delete Kanchen from your device. This removes everything Kanchen stored. Workouts already saved to Apple Health stay there; you can delete them in the Health app.
To import past workouts, Kanchen needs permission to read Workouts. If none were imported, open iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Kanchen, turn on Workouts, and return to Kanchen. Your workouts are imported when you do. To stop Kanchen reading or saving Health data, turn the permissions off in the same place.
In Kanchen, open Settings > Heart rate monitor and choose your monitor. Kanchen reads it only during a session.
In Kanchen, open Settings > Units and choose Metric or Imperial. Your history is not changed.
Kanchen adds nine workouts and a two-week routine to a new install. To remove the ones you have not changed, open Settings > Kanchen workouts and tap Remove Kanchen workouts. You can add them again from the same place.
In Workouts or Routines, swipe left on it and tap Delete, or touch and hold it and choose Delete. Logged sessions stay in History.
